I have not been able to find one single install photo online showing how people bolt these cages down so I am just trying to figure this out and post something up for others to reference. I am also a little worried about the strength of the bottom of the battery sitting on these bolts and causing a puncture.
Unfortunately the bolt heads are still a little too high and the top of the cage would not bolt down. So then I figured I would just go with smaller 1/4" bolts and I would be able to get to the back side with a standard bolt on most of them and it would be strong enough. Ordered 5/16" NutCerts to attach to the factory metal tray but realized the bolt heads were going to be too big. Planned to install it on Sunday but came across an issue.
